Kristine Hart has had a remarkable career that spans both performance and teaching, with a deep foundation in music education and vocal performance. Her early training included a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Ball State University (1997), followed by a Master of Music in Voice from Indiana University (2001). She was a National Grand Finals Winner in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in 2001. Ms. Hart is the recipient of the prestigious Sara Tucker Study Grant from the Richard Tucker Foundation and the Richard F. Gold Career Grant from the Shoshana Foundation.
Ms. Hart’s professional performance career included singing at major opera houses such as Glimmerglass Opera, New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Palm Beach Opera, and the Metropolitan Opera. She also performed as a soloist in a variety of choral works, including Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, Handel’s Messiah, Orff’s Carmina Burana, and Brahm’s Requiem, showcasing her versatile voice across different genres.
Kristine currently teaches K-4 Music at Memorial Elementary School in Paramus, New Jersey, and directs the Children’s Choir and serves as the Soprano Section Leader at Union Congregational Church of Christ in Montclair, NJ.
