Mary Guerriero, from Harrington Park, NJ, began her dance training at a young age under the instruction of Rocco Santorufo at Broadway Bound Dance Center in Dumont, NJ. Her love and passion for dance then led her to Montclair State University where she graduated with a B.A. in Dance Education in May of 2019. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Linda Roberts Outstanding Senior Award by the Department of Theatre and Dance at MSU for exemplary academic and artistic excellence. Throughout her time at MSU, she has had the honor of performing works by Abigail Zbikowski, Fredrick Earl Mosley, Christian von Howard, Charles Weidman, Remy Charlip, Jessica DiMauro and more. Post-graduation, she has performed in several projects for Freespace Dance Company under the direction of Donna Scro Samori and also Fredrick Earl Mosley’s organization of Diversity of Dance. She also has experience working in Arts Administration at Montclair State’s Dance Dept and has taught several levels/genres of dance throughout northern New Jersey.
