Seattle grown, Brooklyn based. Léla received her early training from the Preparatory Dance Program at Cornish College of the Arts, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. She holds a BFA in Dance from Arizona State University, where she performed extensively.  After graduating Summa Cum Laude, she relocated to New York City, where she is working as a freelance dancer and collaborator. She has performed with Treeline Dance Works, continues to work with long time collaborator Britta Joy Peterson, and is currently involved in projects with Inkyung Lee, and Falcon Dance. This is her second season with The Moving Architects.
